Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 June 2026

This document describes the agreement between you and A.Y.V. Hubers Beheer B.V. when you use Money Drip. We've written it to be readable, with legal precision where needed. You don't have to be a lawyer to understand what you're agreeing to.

If you have questions while reading, email [email protected].

1. Who we are and what this document does

Money Drip is a product of A.Y.V. Hubers Beheer B.V. ("Money Drip", "we" or "us"), a Dutch private limited company with offices at Laan op Zuid 188, 3071 AA Rotterdam, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 24425152, VAT number NL818710093B01.

This document, together with our Privacy Policy and Apple's standard license terms for App Store apps, forms the agreement between you (the user) and Money Drip. By installing and using the app, you agree to these terms.

In case of conflict between this document and the Privacy Policy regarding privacy and personal data, the Privacy Policy controls.

2. What Money Drip is — and what it is not

What Money Drip is

Money Drip helps you keep track of fixed costs and subscriptions, so you can see where your money goes. You can enter subscriptions manually, or have our AI scan a screenshot of a bank statement, credit card statement or Apple Subscriptions page to recognize subscriptions automatically.

What Money Drip explicitly is NOT

Disclaimer about the AI scan

The AI scan recognizes subscriptions based on what's visible in the screenshot you provide. AI isn't perfect technology. The scan may miss subscriptions, interpret amounts incorrectly, or flag items that aren't subscriptions. You remain responsible for verifying what Money Drip shows you. Decisions you make based on the app (such as canceling what you believe is a subscription) are your own responsibility.

2.3 Your responsibility when using the app

Money Drip shows you an overview of fixed costs and subscriptions based on what you enter or have scanned. The app performs no actions on your behalf. Concretely, this means:

You are responsible for checking what the app shows before taking action on it, and for timely canceling or keeping services you have questions about. Money Drip is a tool for insight, not a decision-making instrument.

3. Who can use the app

Money Drip is intended for users aged 16 and older. By using the app you declare that you are at least 16 years old. If you are between 16 and 18 and want to purchase a Pro subscription, you need consent from a parent or guardian.

You use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

4. What you may not do with the app

The following is not permitted:

If you violate these rules, we may restrict or terminate your access to the app or to certain features, and in serious cases pursue damages.

5. Money Drip Pro

5.1 What Pro offers

Money Drip is free with basic functionality. Additional features are available through Money Drip Pro:

Tier Annual price What you get
Solo €4.99 3 AI scans per month, widget, iCloud sync, peer comparison
Plus €7.99 7 AI scans per month, scan priority, early access to new features
Family €14.99 5 AI scans per person per month, for up to 4 people via Apple Family Sharing

Prices are inclusive of VAT, in euros, and may vary by region or currency based on Apple's price matrix. The current price is shown in the app and in the App Store.

5.2 Who the seller is

Pro subscriptions are not sold by A.Y.V. Hubers Beheer B.V. directly. Apple sells them on our behalf in the App Store. This means Apple is the seller ("merchant of record"). Apple receives your payment information and handles the transaction.

5.3 Automatic renewal

Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the then-applicable rate, each time for the same period, until you cancel. Apple charges the amount within 24 hours before the renewal date. Apple informs you about the renewal in accordance with Apple's own policy.

5.4 How to cancel

Cancel your Pro subscription on your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select Money Drip.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period. Until that date, you keep access to Pro features.

5.5 Refunds

Because Apple is the seller, refunds go through Apple. Request a refund via reportaproblem.apple.com or via Settings → Subscriptions → Money Drip → Request a Refund. Apple evaluates each request based on Apple's own policy. We have no influence over this and cannot issue refunds ourselves.

5.6 Family Sharing

A Family subscription can be shared via Apple Family Sharing with up to 4 people who are part of your Apple Family Sharing group. Apple determines who qualifies as a family member and how access works. Money Drip receives no information about your family members — only whether a valid Family subscription is linked to your Apple account.

We have no technical means to enforce family-membership rules; that's Apple's responsibility.

5.7 Price changes

We reserve the right to adjust prices for future subscription periods. Changes affecting your ongoing subscription will be announced at least 30 days in advance through the app and/or Apple's standard communication channels. You'll have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU 14 days)

As a consumer in the EU, you generally have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.

For digital services such as Money Drip Pro, this right expires once you agree to immediate delivery of the service and explicitly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal. Apple displays a confirmation screen before purchase where you confirm this; without that confirmation, the purchase does not proceed.

If you have not given this confirmation and want to withdraw within 14 days of purchase, you can do so by:

  1. Submitting a request to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, or
  2. Emailing [email protected] to make your withdrawal known. We will forward your request to Apple for processing.

For withdrawals by consumers in other regions, the rules in those regions apply. For the Dutch situation, we refer to Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code.

7. Intellectual property

The Money Drip app, the name Money Drip, the logo (including the droplet-letter "i"), the text and visual elements, the code and the related websites are owned by A.Y.V. Hubers Beheer B.V. or its licensors. None of this is transferred to you by using the app.

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these terms and the Apple App Store terms.

Use of animations via Rive (rive-app/rive-ios) is covered by the Rive open-source license and is used by us within those terms.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. What data we process, why and for how long, is set out in our Privacy Policy at moneydrip.app/privacy. That document forms an integral part of these terms of service.

9. Availability of the service

We do our best to keep the app continuously available, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may take the app or certain features offline temporarily for maintenance, updates or in case of technical problems, and reserve the right to add, change or discontinue features.

For material changes affecting your Pro subscription (for example, discontinuing a feature you paid for), we'll inform you in advance and offer an appropriate solution or refund via Apple where applicable.

10. Liability

10.1 What we don't exclude

We do not exclude our liability for damage resulting from our intent or willful recklessness, for property damage arising from a defect in our app under Book 6 of the Dutch Civil Code, or for other liability that cannot be excluded by mandatory law.

10.2 What we do limit

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for damages to you is limited to the amount you paid for Money Drip Pro via Apple in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the damage, with a minimum of €25 and a maximum of €500.

We are not liable for:

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims by third parties arising from your use of the app in violation of these terms or applicable law, or from the submission of screenshots containing information about other people without their consent.

12. Apple App Store terms

In addition to these terms, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's Standard EULA for App Store apps apply. The following provisions are included in these terms at Apple's request:

  1. These terms of service are an agreement between you and A.Y.V. Hubers Beheer B.V. Apple Inc. is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app or its content.

  2. Your license to use the app is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

  3. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide maintenance or support for the app. For support, you can contact [email protected].

  4. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price if applicable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app.

  5. Claims relating to the app (including product liability and intellectual property claims) are to be directed to us, not to Apple.

  6. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

  7. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms of service. They have the right to enforce the provisions applicable to them against you.

13. Dispute resolution

Got a complaint about the app or these terms? Contact us first at [email protected]. We do our best to resolve issues together within five working days.

If we cannot resolve a dispute together, you can bring it before a Dutch court. As a consumer, you can also bring it before a court in your country of residence under Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 (Brussels I bis).

As a consumer in the EU, you can also submit an online dispute via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in any out-of-court dispute resolution procedure.

14. Governing law and competent court

These terms are governed by Dutch law. The competent court is the District Court of Rotterdam, unless mandatory consumer rules in your country of residence provide otherwise.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.

15. Termination

This agreement runs until terminated by you or by us.

Upon termination, your rights to use the app end. Provisions intended by their nature to survive termination (such as liability, intellectual property, dispute resolution) remain in effect.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for instance because the app changes, because the law changes, or because we want to clarify an ambiguity.

For material changes we'll show a notice in the app before the change takes effect. For ongoing Pro subscriptions, material changes that adversely affect you will only take effect at the next renewal, unless you accept the change earlier.

The current version is always at moneydrip.app/terms, with the date at the top.
